You may or may not know Gus Tinto, but if you don’t here’s a bit of history why you should get to know him. I guess you could say that Gus Tinto started off like every other dj, but is this true? Read on and find out. Gus Tinto grew up in the region of Rotterdam, that’s in the Netherlands . He played the piano ever since he was able to walk, had his own drive-in-show as a teenager and played at his school and local sports clubs.

His first dj name wasn’t Gus Tino, not even close. Back in the day’s [1997] he called himself ‘The Clubdoctor’. [Yes really of all the names he could have picked…] Luckily for Gus Tinto he was invited to play at several large parties within a year and was chosen for his musical and dj skills. He shared the decks with; Robin Alberts [Jaydee], 2 O’clock Ron, Miss Monica, Jean, Mark van Dale, Darkraver, Stanton, DJ Paul Elstak and many others.
At that time he figured out he needed another dj name and changed it to; Gus Tinto. The name Gus Tinto best describes him and his style of music. He managed to develop his own sound and was inspired by the sounds of his favourite party island, Ibiza. As you read this bio Gus Tinto’s main music style is Deep & Tech House. Gus Tinto has shared his decks with top dj / producers like: Erick E, Roog, Funkerman, Baggi Begovic, Lucien Foort, Jean and many others.

You’ll be able to find Gus Tinto at clubs, parties and events all around Europe. In the year 2012 he made a special promo tour along the coast of Spain and ended later that summer on Ibiza. On the island he played alongside dj Roog & Lucien Foort on one of the “Ibiza Party Cruises”. Finishing his promo tour at Exclusive Beach Clubs like: Carl Cox “La Plage” & “La Jacaranda Lounge club”

Between gigs, you can find him in his studio, producing tracks & remixes for various national and international record labels. Gus Tinto did time, studio time that is, with, Gus Calderone [The House Moguls], Stanny Abram, Mitch Major, Vinnie M and many more.

De Gus Tinto zoals wij hem nu kennen, is klein begonnen net als ieder ander DJ. Hij groeide op in omgeving Rotterdam en speelde van jongs af aan piano. Hij had een eigen drive-in-show en was populair binnen zijn school en sportverenigingen waar hij regelmatig draaide.

Inmiddels heeft hij zijn naam veranderd naar DJ Gus Tinto, omdat dit beter past bij zijn muziekstijl.
Hij heeft in de loop der tijd zijn eigen sound ontwikkeld en haalt zijn inspiratie uit de partysounds van zijn favoriete feestbestemming; Ibiza.
Gus Tinto is gaan variëren met verschillende muziekstijlen zoals; Tech house, latinhouse, funky club, progressieve club & vocals [afhankelijk van de aanvraag]. Dj’s als Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez & Roog hebben altijd een grote invloed op Gus Tinto gehad en hij draait met Hollands beste DJ’s Roog [Hardsoul], Erick E, Baggi Begovic, Lucien Foort, , Billy the Klit en vele anderen. Gus Tinto is veel te vinden in clubs, feesten en op evenementen in de regio Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Den Haag en ook internationaal in Belgie & Valencia, Spanje.
